American football is an incredibly broad niche, so choosing the right affiliate programs is very important. You don’t want to promote college jerseys if you are running a pro football blog or a fantasy football blog.
You need to find specific partners to promote programs that will resonate with your audience.
Well then, you are in luck because we have put together a list of 10 great Football affiliate programs. These relate only to American football and not association football/soccer. That is a whole other niche to work with. And a good one as well.
But I digress. I tried to find a diverse range of affiliate programs that would cover a wide swath of the overall football niche.
There are plenty of other partner programs for you to use and there might not be any on this list that fit specifically to your micro-niche. But hopefully, there are a few here that you can use.
One last thing to note. I did not include any Fantasy football-related affiliate programs on this list. The fantasy sports sub-niche is large enough that I made their own list of 10 great partner programs for it. You can check that out right here.
Let’s get to it.
There Is Just Something About Owning Your Own Business. Being Your Own Boss. Building Something From The Ground Up With Your Own Hands. Especially When It Is This Easy To Get Started.

NFL Shop Affiliate Program
- Company Name: NFL Shop
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 6%
- Tracking Cookie: 7-days
- Website URL: www.nflshop.com
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
We’ll start with a pretty obvious one. If your football blog is even remotely connected to pro football then you are going to want to pick up this affiliate.
This is the official NFL store.
They have just about anything related to the NFL for your readers to choose from.
This is a cornerstone partner program, much like Best Buy or Amazon or any other big easily recognizable brand. You don’t need to do a lot of promoting for a partner program like this. The brand sells itself but you really need to have it available front and center to your readers.
The Terms of the Program?
The commission is a pretty standard 6%. This is right on par with other large affiliate partners like Amazon. There are certainly better terms to be found elsewhere but a huge brand like this more than makes up for the relatively low commissions.
Big companies and brands tend to have lower commission since they don’t need to rely on the advertising from affiliate partners.
It is the nature of the business.
Another tell-tale aspect of huge brands is their lower duration tracking cookie. And the NFL Shop is no exception. The tracking cookie is only 7-days. Not really great but still better than say, Amazon and their 20-hour tracker.
You’ll need to be sure your content uses some specific buyer intent keywords if you create content around this affiliate. But a lot of targeted content won’t really be necessary for this particular partner program.
The 30-day ShareASale Statistics look promising for the associate program as well.
- The $87.05 Average Sale is nice to see for this type of affiliate program.
- The $2.02 Average Commission is a little on the low side even with the lower commission. Sometimes these stats don’t line up like they should but keep an eye on them to see if it is a trend or a blip or simply a glitch in the system.
- The earnings per click are good at $42.23 EPC.
The Final Word on the NFL Shop
It is the NFL. It is their official online store. Their terms are about average but the brand name cannot be ignored.
If your blog is even tangentially associated with professional football you are going to want to have this affiliate on your team. Even if it is just as an advertisement on your front page.
Strideline Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Strideline
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 8%
- Tracking Cookie: 30-days
- Website URL: https://www.strideline.com/
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
Here is an interesting little affiliate program for your football blog. This company makes socks.
That’s right.
Socks.
What is cool about it is that they have an NFLPA license. That is the players union of the NFL. So they don’t have team socks they have players on their socks.
It really is one of the more unique partner programs I have come across, for any niche, not just the football niche. It will probably take a little more promotion and some interesting content to get your readers on board with their products.
What it does do is give your partner programs some diversity. The novelty of their products should help sell themselves and you can give them a little nudge if they are not converting the way you would like. This is not a primary affiliate partner but it can certainly add to the overall strategy of your blog’s partner programs.
What is the Commission?
Strideline offers a pretty good 8% commission for their affiliate partners. This is actually a pretty good commission for a retail product of this type. Retail commissions are typically much lower than digital products and clothing can sometimes be even lower on its own.
So it is nice to see a reasonable and fair commission from this partner program.
Their cookie is decent at 30-days. This is a pretty standard tracking cookie and one that will give your readers plenty of time to decide on what socks to buy and still give you the opportunity of generating some income from your affiliate link.
The 30-day ShareASale Statistics look very nice as well.
- The $45.25 Average Sale is quite good for this type of retailer.
- The average commission is right where it should be at $5.33.
- The Earnings Per Click is very robust at $130.24 EPC.
The Wrap-Up
A novel little affiliate program for the football niche. It’s fun. It is interesting and it can add some diversity to your affiliate stable. Their terms are fair. What is not to like? Definitely, something to look into if it fits into your blog and your overall strategy for your affiliate programs.
Under Armour Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Under Armour
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: Commission Junction
- Sales Commission: 5%
- Tracking Cookie: 30-days
- Website URL: https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/
- Niche: American Football/Sports Clothing
- Auto-Approval?: No
Under Armour is another well-known brand name in sports equipment and apparel. It makes this list of affiliate programs for being one of the official suppliers for the NFL. They supply footwear and gloves as well as general football apparel.
The Under Armour name is worth having. If your blog is in need of football apparel or it this brand is popular with your specific audience. I am not overly impressed with this affiliate program but it might work for you.
What is the Commission?
The Under Armour affiliate program offers an average 5% commission on all qualifying sales. This is slightly below average but when combined with the Under Armour name it makes for quite a decent partner program for your football blog.
The tracking cookie offered up by this affiliate program is a standard 30-day cookie. This is actually pretty good for a brand of this size as they usually tend to have pretty short duration cookies for their partner programs.
The 30-day earnings per click for this affiliate program is a pretty nice $59.92 EPC according to their statistics on Commission Junction.
The Wrap Up
The terms of the partner program are just okay. But the brand is a good and popular one. You can try and fit it into your blog especially if it has sections for football footwear or gloves. Other than that you can always test it out and see if it converts well for your audience.
Fans Edge Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Fans Edge
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 10%
- Tracking Cookie: 7-days
- Website URL: www.fansedge.com
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
They have all types of team gear for both professional and college football. One of the largest selections of football gear out of all of the affiliates on this list. When you combine the commission with the selection this is a great choice for your general product affiliate program.
What are the Affiliate Terms?
The Fans Edge affiliate program offers a 10% commission for its partners. This is really an outstanding commission for an apparel retailer. Anything in double digits is great and Fans Edge nearly doubles the commission of a program like Amazons.
The tracking cookie is not great. It is only a 7-day cookie. While it is always nice to get a longer cookie, 7-days is reasonable for this type of affiliate program The overall cost of the products is not really that high so the 7-day tracking cookie is acceptable.
Let’s have a quick look at the 30-day ShareASale statistics:
- The $66.34 Average Sale is very nice for an apparel retailer.
- The average commission of $4.16 is good but not great.
- The earnings per click are $17.07 EPC.
These stats vary for each 30-day period, but you can get a general idea of the overall health of the affiliate program in most cases by looking at these stats from time to time.
The Wrap Up
Another excellent football apparel retailer. Their 10% commission is the real draw here. Anything in double figures is great for this type of company and they do not let you down with their affiliate terms.
It might even be worth it to promote this affiliate over some of the other apparel programs just to get the bigger commission, assuming the price of the products is the same. One thing you never want to do as an affiliate marketer is pushing a product solely for the larger commission.
Always give your readers the best deal.
Sports Memorabilia Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Sports Memorabilia
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 12%
- Tracking Cookie: 30-days
- Website URL: www.sportsmemorabilia.com
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
Sports Memorabilia offers a wide assortment of all type of sports keepsakes. This includes a wide selection of football-related items that you can review and promote on just about any type of football blog. They have items from college and pro football as well as many other sports.
Give them a look if you need a sports memorabilia affiliate partner.
The Commission?
Sports Memorabilia offers a 12% commission on all qualifying sales through its affiliate partners. This is an outstanding commission for this type of affiliate. Some of these collectibles can really sell for quite a bit of money and this commission make sure you get a decent cut of the price.
The 30-day tracking cookie is another bonus for this affiliate program. Because the prices can be pretty high with some of their products you want as much time as possible for your readers to be able to decide on a purchase. 30-days gives them enough time to decide and still give you the commission.
Here is a look at the ShareASale 30-day Stats:
- The $210.86 Average Sale is very nice.
- The average commission of $12.45 is a little off the average sale.
- The earnings per click are only $15.35 EPC.
The stats don’t line up very well. This happens from time to time with the reporting. Just keep an eye on them to be sure there are no long term issues with this affiliate program.
The Wrap Up
A good partner program to have for your football blog. This is the first memorabilia affiliate on the list and you really need at least one for your blog. It diversifies your affiliate portfolio and adds the potential for some high-ticket items to a niche that doesn’t have many of them readily available.
Prep Sportswear Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Prep Sportswear
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 12%
- Tracking Cookie: 30-days
- Website URL: www.prepsportswear.com
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
Prep Sportswear is an athletic apparel retailer. What sets this affiliate apart from some of the other programs is that they have high school and international football gear for your readers to choose from.
They have quite a selection of clothing from the Canadian Football League. While the CFL is nowhere near the popularity of the NFL or college football it is always nice to have a place for the CFL fans to pick up some gear from your affiliate links.
The Terms?
Prep Sportswear offers a good 12% commission to their affiliate partners. The commission is very welcome given the type of retailer they are.
The tracking cookie is a standard 30-days which is nice to see.
The Wrap-Up
This is a nice secondary affiliate program to deploy on your football blog. Even if you don’t target high school or international football it might be a good idea to have it in your partner arsenal for the novelty if nothing else.
The College Watch Co. Affiliate Program
- Company Name: The College Watch Co.
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 15%
- Tracking Cookie: 90-days
- Website URL: collegewatch.com
- Niche: American Football/Watches
- Auto-Approval?: No
This is an interesting affiliate partner you could promote with your football blog. It is not directly related to football but it is a very novel partner to have and it blends seamlessly with any college football blog.
College Watch is exactly what it sounds like a retailer that sells watches based on colleges. These are high quality reasonably priced watches based on the most popular college teams in the United States. These are for real die-hard fans but you could easily promote them to your football blog audience.
The Affiliate Terms
The College Watch Affiliate Program offers an outstanding 15% commission to its affiliate partners. The watches can reach close to 100 dollars or more depending on sales and other factors so a 15% commission is very welcome.
The tracking cookie is also great. At 90-days it gives your readers plenty of time to decide on the purchase and you’ll almost always get a commission if they decide to buy the product through your affiliate link.
The basic rule of thumb is the more the product costs the longer you want the cookie to be. Higher priced goods typically require more time on the buyer to decide whether or not to make the purchase.
The Wrap-Up
A nice little side affiliate that you can use for a college football blog. Great Terms and a pretty cool product. It might require a good amount of promotion to really get the most out of it, however. So you’ll have to decide if the time investment is worth it for this affiliate partner.
Coach Tube Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Coach Tube
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale
- Sales Commission: 30%
- Tracking Cookie: 60-days
- Website URL: coachtube.com
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
Coach Tube offers a wide selection of coaching-related training videos for all sports including American football. This partner program is ideal for anyone in the football coaching niche. Their products are well produced and useful for people who want to learn the ins and outs of football coaching.
This type of affiliate is something that is very unique and different from the typical apparel and memorabilia partners that you’ll see in this niche. This could be a great addition to any football or sports coaching blog. It is definitely one to look into, plus the terms are great.
The Affiliate Partner Terms
Speaking of affiliate terms, Coach Tube offers an incredible 30% commission for their partners. This is a pretty common commission for an all-digital product supplier. Any football blog would do well to have this program in their stable.
The cookie is equally as robust as the commission. A 60-day tracking cookie gives your readers plenty of time to make a purchase. Typically all digital affiliate programs have much better terms than their physical product counterparts.
The 30-day ShareASale Statistics Look Decent For this Program:
- The $24.47 Average Sale is pretty nice.
- A $4.90 Average Commission is right where you would expect it to be.
- The earnings per click are $8.64 EPC.
The Wrap-Up
This affiliate works best for any football coaching-related blog but could be incorporated into any blog in the football niche. It is a very interesting partner to have but one that will take quite a bit of promotion and hand-holding to make sure your audience knows exactly what they are buying.
Mental Toughness Trainer Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Mental Toughness Trainer
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: None
- Sales Commission: 50%
- Tracking Cookie: 30-days
- Website URL: https://www.mentaltoughnesstrainer.com
- Niche: American Football
- Auto-Approval?: No
Mental Toughness Trainer is a series of training videos and tutorials designed to give its user the mental edge in all sporting competitions, especially football and the quarterback position. This program only really makes sense if your blog deals with training and coaching of football, typically at youth and high school levels.
They offer a few different training programs designed for all age groups, so you will be able to find one that fits your blog perfectly.
Still, it is a very interesting affiliate program. However, you will need to do an extensive promotion with a good amount of content built around this product specifically. The reason for this is that the type of product is not common or well known and will need a whole lot of explaining.
The Terms
Being an all-digital product you would expect a very high commission for this affiliate partner. And Mental Toughness Training does not disappoint. They offer a remarkable 50% commission on all sales from their affiliate partners.
The Wrap-Up
If you can promote this product effectively then you will stand to make a good chunk of change for your blog. But it will require quite a bit of hard work and content to really sell this type of program.
Press Pass Collectibles Affiliate Program
- Company Name: Press Pass Collectibles
- Application: Sign Up Here
- Affiliate Network: ShareASale

- Website URL: https://www.presspasscollectibles.com/

- Auto-Approval?: No

This type of affiliate is always a good one to have because everyone has their favorite players and teams and getting that special autographed keepsake from them is a wonderful feeling.
The Commission and The Cookie?
Press Pass Collectibles offers a very good 12% commission for their affiliate partners. As I have mentioned before anything in double digits is great for a retail affiliate. And given the high price of some of Press Pass’s items, this works out well for your blog.
The tracking cookie is also good at 45-days. A longer cookie would be nice given the prices of some of their products but overall 45-days is nice.
The ShareASale statistics look decent:
- The $325.06 Average Sale is very good.
- The average commission of $22.23 a good number.
- The earning per click is decent at $17.42 EPC
The Wrap-Up
A good affiliate for any type of sports blog, but particularly good for a football blog. They offer excellent affiliate terms and have some very nice products including a few high ticket items. You will want at least one memorabilia partner for your football blog.

Hey Michael, thanks for sharing these Football Affiliate programs with us. I’ve already signed up with some of them. However, since I haven’t started yet I am asking myself the following: how is your experience with copyrights? aren’t we as a affiliate websites violating club’s logo and product rights, when for example upload photos of their products without written permission? I am asking about NHL. Thanks
If you snap a picture of your shoes, let’s say Nike, then you can use that image even though it has the Nike logo on it. It’s fair use really. You can’t take their logo slap it on a t-shirt and try and sell it though.
You need to make sure any images you use are royalty-free but other than that you should be fine. Same thing for NHL logo gear. If you take a photo of yourself in a Bruins jersey and then post it online, that should be just fine.
The best thing to do is take your own photos and use them as images but there are plenty of places to get free use images including many with trademarked logos that you are legally allowed to use.
Also, many affiliate programs will have banners and images that you can use and many will have an official logo on them.
Here are some hockey affiliates if your interested.
