Writing quickly is a skill like anything else. You have to work at it. One of the most daunting parts of affiliate marketing with written content is actually writing the content.
Many beginners spend 3 or 4 hours writing a single 1500 word article. It can be demoralizing for new marketers. So improving your writing speed is important to keep your online business moving along and running smoothly
Some turn to purchasing articles, which is a great way to go if you have the capitol to begin with. But writing you first articles yourself gives you an attachment to your business that you cannot get any other way.
So here are some tips for training yourself to write faster and better with a little preparation and practice.
Have Prior Knowledge Of The Subject
One of the best ways to write quickly is to write about something you know. That means you can sit down and write just from memory and experience and not have to constantly research as you write.

Most word processors will have some form of editing/grammar checking built-in so there is no excuse not to use it. It saves tons of time and makes you work look that much more professional.
Voice Typing Is An Unbelievable Time Saver
Some people just can’t type all that fast. I would classify my typing as slightly above average. If I were trying to write an article as quickly as possible, my typing my just be the week link that slows me down.
But I have a secret weapon when it comes to writing articles quickly. Voice to text typing. I simply sat what I want to write and the software does the rest. If can increase your words per minute dramatically. If you really want to increase your article writing speed voice typing is a great place to start.
The one caveat with voice typing is that it typically needs more editing since the technology is far from perfect. That is where a good editor come in handy. Most of the mistakes in a voice typed document can be fixed with the click of a mouse and won’t slow you down to much if you have a decent editing suite.
I personally use Google Docs for most of my article writing. It is a solid free word processor than has built in voice typing that does a pretty good job all things considered.
There are paid voice typing solutions that might be more accurate, but I am happy with the free voice typing in Google Docs that I don’t feel I need to spend any money on one of the paid solutions.
Practice, Practice, Practice
Nothing is going to speed up your writing time fast that simply writing. Practice, Practice, Practice. Every article you write is practice for the next one. Eventually you will get quite good at writing just by writing.
What seemed hopeless when you wrote your first article is going to be quick and easy after you do it for a few months. But it is not easy. You will need to be creative and consistent with your article writing to really become great at it.
With enough practice and some time you will be a pretty good writer and one that can turn a topic into an article in short order. Maybe you can even write an article in under 7 minutes.

The fastest way to get articles onto your niche site is of course to buy them. If you can afford it then this is a great way to get good content on your website in short order.
The inherent issues are that not all freelance writers are of equal quality with their writing. So it might take time to find an writing that you are comfortable with. At times the editing of poorly written paid content can take longer than writing it yourself.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter how long it takes to write a good article. 7 minutes,10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 2 hours. Take all the time you need. Most of your articles are going to need a couple of months to get any traffic traction to begin with, especially if your site is new, so spend a little extra time crafting your content and making it great.
