There is a little something for everyone at Emily’s Chocolate, so they should be a pretty easy affiliate to promote.  Their selection of items is really impressive for a small chocolate shop.  It should give you a good amount of review content for your blog as well.

The Emily’s Chocolate affiliate program offers its partners a very nice 10% commission on all qualifying sales made through one of your affiliate links.  A double-digit commission for this type of craft food store is pretty good.

Chocolate.org offers some pretty impressive terms for their affiliate program.  The commission is 12%.  An outstanding commission of this type of retailer and one that will fit nicely into any partner strategy.

The tracking cookie is the real star here though.  A full 9-month cookie gives your readers more than enough time to decide on a purchase and still give you the commission.  There are a few really great cookie durations on this list and it is great to see these longer duration tracking cookies.

They also have products for toffee and caramel lovers among a variety of other candies and sweets.  Making this a good partner program for a candy blog as opposed to one just focused on chocolate.

The Affiliate Terms

This program offers an incredible 15% commission on all sales through your affiliate links.  Anything over 10% is great but 15 is really remarkable in the overall food and beverage niche.

The tracking cookie is a standard 30-days.  For this type of vendor, this is not an issue at all.

Sephra specializes in chocolate fountains.  These are great for parties and get together and look pretty cool to boot.  They also sell bulk chocolate in sizes up to 20lbs.  20lbs of chocolate to melt in a fountain.  It is a very unique and interesting chocolate affiliate program.

The cheapest fountain we could find on their site was around $300 dollars, some of the biggest fountains had no on-site pricing.  This partner adds some much needed high-ticket items to your chocolate niche blog.

You could get some interesting content out of these affiliates’ products.  From reviews of the fountains and chocolate to articles on how they work you could produce months worth of content just from this affiliate.

The Terms

The terms offered by the Sephra affiliate program are pretty good.  Not great.  The 8% commission is reasonable but with so many other programs on this list in double-digits it might push it down on your affiliate priorities.

The cookie is the standard 30-day tracking cookie.  Completely fine for this type of retailer.  We would love to see it a little higher, however.

The Stats

The stats look great except for the reversal rate.  This is the percentage of refunds.  It is exceptionally high for this 30-day time period.  It could be an anomaly or a trend.  Keep an eye on it if you decide to promote this affiliate.  If it is a trend you have to weight the backlash from that amount of dissatisfied customers.

• The $89.45 Average Sale is outstanding.
• The $6.45 Average Commission is right about where you would expect it to be.  Sometimes the reversal rate can skew this number.
• The earnings per click of $32.59 EPC is fantastic
• A 5.05% Conversion Rate is the quoted conversion on ShareASale.  It is a very high percentage and might be unsustainable.  But it looks great for this time period.
• The 12.07 % Reversal Rate percentage is incredibly high.  Ideally, you want this below 1%.  It could just be a bad run.  Be attentive to it as you promote this partner.

The Wrap-Up

A unique affiliate program to have for this niche.  The products are of high quality and high ticket items that can generate a good amount of commissions.  Speaking of the commission it is ok and the cookie is average.

Try and fit this on into your affiliate strategy because it is really unique and interesting.

Technically this is a gift box niche affiliate program rather than one for the chocolate niche.  But since you can create your own unique chocolate subscription boxes I have chosen to add it to this list.

They have a huge variety of different gift boxes your readers can create.  They can go all chocolate or mix and match with nuts and candies of all sorts.  It is a pretty fun affiliate to have on your blog.  They have over 30 options that include some amount of chocolate in them.

You can’t go wrong with their products.

The Commission and the Cookie

Another place you can’t go wrong with this affiliate program is the commission.  It is 15%.  An outstanding percentage for any partner program.  But given the number of products and the gift potential of this partner, it is remarkable.

The cookie comes in at 30-days.  A standard tracking cookie.  I would have liked to see this a little higher given that some of their products can run into the hundreds of dollars.

The 30-day Stats

The stats look really good although the reversal rate is a little high.

• The $107.75 Average Sale is outstanding
• A $12.40 Average Commission is good
• The earnings per click of $25.54 EPC is excellent
• The reversal rate is 6.25 %.  This is a little too high for my liking.  Keep an Eye on it.
• The 2.06% Conversion Rate is pretty good.

A great affiliate for candy, chocolate or general food blogging niches.  Their chocolate gift box offerings are more than enough to put them on this list, however.  The commission is great and the cookie is ok.  Definitely, one to check out for your chocolate niche blog.

Love M&M’s?  Then this is the affiliate program for you and your blog.  Technically this could be classified as a candy partner program but it makes this list to add a little diversity to it.  The M&M store offers every type of M&M imaginable including huge bulk bags for parties and special occasions.

There is not much else to say about them.  They are M&M’s and if your readers love them, add this to your affiliate portfolio.  They promote themselves.

The Affiliate Terms

My M&M’s affiliate programs offer their partners a pretty decent 8% commission for sales through their affiliate links.  What is important about this is that it is considerably more than the commission you would get from Amazon, which is typically 4-6%.

The cookie is a standard 30-day tracking cookie.

The Wrap-Up

They are M&M’s they practically sell themselves.  What is interesting is the affiliate terms.  For such a big name brand they are actually quite reasonable.  You’ll need to sign up for Commission Junction Affiliate Network in order to gain access to this program.

This is a New Zealand based chocolate company.  They offer 2 subscription boxes to their members.  Your readers can cancel whenever they decide they don’t want this product anymore.  So there is no long term commitment.

The chocolate themselves looks outstanding.  They have a variety of dark and milk chocolates that they pack into each box.

The Affiliate Terms

The My Chocolate Box affiliate program forgoes the traditional percentage commission and instead offers a flat fee for each referral through your affiliate link.  The base fee is $10 dollars.  While I prefer the percentage commission structure this is a nice change of pace and a pretty nice flat fee.

The cookie duration was not available at the time of publication so you will need to ask about it when you sign up for this partner program.

The Wrap-Up

While a flat fee isn’t the greatest for a subscription service, this one is pretty good due to the $10 flat fee.  It is quite nice to see a commission flat rate fee this high.  Give it a try and see if it performs better than some of the other subscription boxes.

The big downside for this affiliate is that it only has the subscription boxes.  Ideally, you want to have other offerings for people who just want a single item.

Fine Chocolate Club is a subscription club that offers its members some of the best chocolate delights every month as part of their subscription.  Their chocolate subscription is the only product they have so your promotion will be pretty straight forward.

However, their commission structure is not the best.  Let’s take a look at that now.

The Flat Rate Commission

Fine Chocolate Club offers a flat rate referral fee of $5 for anyone who signs up for their club.  Even if they don’t hang around and only take part in the free month you still get the fee.  It is a decent affiliate term but not great.

The fee itself is ok.  But it is a one time deal.  So you get no residuals from the subscription boxes.  That makes it a tough one to promote as you are basically just getting a one-time finders fee.  Still, it should be ok if you need this sort of program in your affiliate strategy.

The 90-days is outstanding and helps make up for the flat rate commission.

The Stats

The 30-day stats are pretty good.

• The $5.00 Average Commission is due to the flat rate commission fee.
• The earnings per click are $6.94 EPC.
• A respectable 1.39% Conversion Rate.

Wrap-Up

A decent partner program.  The flat-fee commission on a subscription box is acceptable.  The cookie is outstanding and their product is top-notch.  The real issue is that you are passing the customer over to the affiliate program with no future earning potential.

The same is true of the previous program but the fee is doubled.

Still, give it a look and see how your readers respond to it.

Therefore the appeal of this partner program might be a little bit limited but if you are in the chocolate making micro-niche this would be a great affiliate to pick up.

This affiliate offers a variable commission structure between 6% and 15%.  2 sales a month your commission goes up to 8%, 4 sales it goes up to 10%, 8 sales your commission goes up to 15%.  So the more you sell the better your commissions will be.

The cookie is outstanding.  They offer a tracking cookie with a whopping 365-day duration.  This means if they click your link and buy something within the next ear you are going to get the commission from it.  Great to see.

The 30-day stats look ok.  Nothing great but decent.

This is an affiliate program with a much narrower appeal than many of the others on this list.  This partner is for people who want to make their own chocolate candies and decorations.  But the commission is decent with the potential to rise to great and the cookie is outstanding.

They tend to have pretty good terms as they are typically trying to generate more traffic to their store.  In the case of Bar and Cocoa, they are trying to get some recognition in the competitive chocolate niche.

They sell mostly dark chocolate, so this is less candy and more health food really.  They stock many of the worlds best chocolate brands and have a wide variety of options as far as cocoa percentage.  All the way up to 100% pure chocolate.

Bar and Cocoa also offer a curated subscription box that delivers 4 bars each month.  Great to see subscription options at many of these chocolate sellers.  Subscriptions should carry a lot of weight when you are deciding on which affiliate to promote.

The Affiliate Terms

The commission offered by the Bar and Cocoa affiliate program is a very respectable 10% commission.  Their products are not high-ticket items so don’t expect huge commission per sale, but you should be able to generate a number of sales quite often.

The tracking cookie is a standard 30-day cookie.  For this type of relatively low priced product 30-days is more than enough of a duration for the tracking cookie.  So no issues there.

A brand new partner program for you to look at.  There is not much in the way of stats or history but they have good products and fit well into the chocolate niche.  Give them a test run and see how they convert to your audience.  The commission and cookie are both pretty good.  Worth a look.
